S/H 1960s Hofner Congress with Hofner Pickup, Sunburst

Throughout the 50s and 60s Hofner built a fabulous reputation for making high quality, afforable arch tops for a European market to rival the inflating prices of their American countrparts. 

Whilst the Hofner Congress was marketed as the entry point of their range, playing this instrument will have you convinced otherwise! It's clear from the condition of this vintage Jazzer that it's been meticulously looked after by it's previous owner over the years, with the addition of a Hofner neck pickup to make it perfect for stage or studio. 

It also has the higher specification appointment of the five, three dot inlays embedded in its Rosewood fingerboard which would usually be reserved for Senators and Presidents but anyone that's looked into Hofner's production history from this era will know that irregularities like this aren't uncommon!

It's a beautiful guitar in great condition and sounds every bit as good as it looks and comes complete with our two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price.
