S/H Martin HD-28 Left-Handed Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Natural

Harking back to the pre-war iterations one of Martin's most influential guitars. During WW2, intense material rationing was mandated and the socio-economic impact of the aftermath meant that Martin had to scale back the more luxurious appointments of the D-28 (which became standardised in 1947) to save on cost both for the company and the customer; the Herringbone purfling and antique white binding and he 'Golden Era' scalloped 'X' bracing. 

Until 1976 when the HD-28 was reintroduced into the Martin catalogue and has become a staple ever since. This left-handed model is a welcome addition to our ranks, boasting all of those high end appointments on top of the tried and true combination of it's solid Spruce sound board and two-piece Indian Rosewood back and sides. The forward shifted 'X' bracing allowing the lower bout to resonate more freely, accentuating its low mid-range  and creating a powerful, rich tonality. 

It comes with it's original hard case and our two year set up and servicing warranty included in the price.
