1965 Gibson EB-3

 It’s the bass that Jack Bruce wreaked havoc on!

The EB-3 was introduced around 1961 & to get one from the decade in original condition (minus the string mute) is a real coup.

Gibson already had a fantastic reputation pre-WW2 as Michigan’s finest luthiers, and when they delved into making basses in the fifties and sixties, they did it in style. The craftsmanship has stood the test of time and the sound coming from this is still gorgeous. The Varitone rotary switch brings tonal variation alongside two volumes and two tones. Flatwounds add to the whole aura.
