S/H 1963 Gretsch 6070 Country Gent Bass, Tobacco Burst

A truly stunning, second year of production Gretsch Country Gent bass. Only manufactured for a period of ten years between 1962-1972, Gretsch aimed to blend the worlds of double bass and the increasingly popular electric basses to satisfy all markets. With its full 17" lower bout, thinline semi-hollow body, high powered Filter'tron humbucker providing depth and dynamic range but with a retractable stand from its 'G' logo trapeze tailpiece atop a floating bridge and robust deep 'C' neck profile. 

It's in impeccable condition for its age with minimal signs of play wear and the original Tobacco Sunburst finish still as striking as it was straight off the product line. It comes with its original gig bag, original warranty card and receipt and its had only one owner since its original purchase.
