S/H 1971 Fender Stratocaster, Four Bolt, John Birch Customised, Three Tone Sunburst

Early 70s Fender production has been piquing the interest of vintage collectors and players for some time now (particularly anything with a four bolt neck!) but this guitar is really amazing. The neck has been customised by legendary luthier John Birch, famed for his work with artists such as Black Sabbaths Tony Iommi. 

The neck has been re-profiled to a comfortable 60s medium 'C' and a fretboard re-radius to a much flatter 12", optimising the playability of the guitar and executed to an incredibly high standard. 

The ageing on the finish is really interesting, you can tell this guitars seen some stage lights in the way the three tone sunburst has diminished on the top but not the back and the play wear is something the Custom Shop could only dream of replicating! 

A really cool guitar, available now and fully warranted for set ups and servicing for three years!
