Roc by name, Roc by nature!
There's an interesting history to the Roc Jet, originally produced by Gretsch for a brief glimpse between '54-'55 but was quickly eclipsed by its successor, the highly revered Duo-Jet. It faded into obscurity until its revival in 1971 as part of Gretsch's 'Balwin Era' main production line after the evident success of Gibson's reintroduction of the single cut solid body electric guitar in the late 60s.
Chambered Mahogany body, Super'Tron humbucking pickups, floating tail piece, zero fret, neck join at the 18th fret for uninterrupted fluency up the neck and finished in an elegant Mercedes Black, this guitar has got all the style and all the substance to back it up.
It has signs of play wear as is expected of a guitar this age but that all contributes to its charm.
It comes fully warranted for three years for set ups and servicing included in the price.
