S/H 1985 Rickenbacker 4003

Stunner alert! This Rickenbacker 4003 has some battle scars but plays excellently for a 40-year old instrument.

This appears to be a very early (all original) 4003 basses (January 1985), with the 4001 basses being phased out in 1984. The neck is still slim and the sound from the neck and bridge are more akin to a ‘70s 4001, just with a little more low end.

It’s a joy to play, and is a great weight (9.1lbs/4.12kg). This is such an expressive instrument and deserves to be played loud!

Comes with non-original hard case and a customary 3-year warranty. Will be safely and thoroughly packaged.
