S/H 2018 Warwick GPS Thumb V, Nirvana Black Stain

A fantastic example of one of Warwick's most popular designs. The Thumb bass, at first glance, may look like a bass whose body is unsual, but sit or stand with it and you quickly realise there is an inimitable quality to both the feel and sound. 

Two active MEC single coils positioned close to the bridge are backed by a dynamic 2-band EQ, though can also run this bass in passive via a push/pull volume dial. Don't be fooled by this seeming focus on treble, as the Ovangkol body brings a weight a to the sound that is thick and thunderous. 

Classic Warwick Wenge fingerboard is matched by chrome hardware and a rather stealthy black stain finish.
