S/H Yamaha TRB 6P-II (Japan 2000)

Although we were partying like it was 1999, the boys from Japan were cooking up a bass for the 21st-century. May I present this second-hand TRBP 6P-II from the year 2000!

This bass is a total beast, but is also a great example of excellent craftmanship. The scale length is 35 inches, with a 40 inch radius ebony fretboard (24 frets). The body is made from light ash, topped with ovangkol . Bridge is a row of mono-rail Yamaha BPZ-7 units.

Pickups are the fat, warm and articulate with 2-double coils (alnico V magents) and incredibly, a piezo bridge transducer, giving you some double-bass vibes. Controls were master volume, balancer, piezo volume and 3-Band EQ.

Did Yamaha leave anything out? We think not. If the Millenium Bug had struck, this bass would have survived, and it's ready for action as it has largely been a domestic pet.

Comes with original black vinyl Yamaha hard case and 3-year warranty.
